I’m going to do what truly makes me happy. I’m done with the “what if’s”, extreme and unnecessary back up plans, and being a worry wart which causes me to think of the worst case scenarios. If I really trust in God, I’d put all fear behind me and “jump the gun”. I’m on the right path, I just need to cut down the branches out of my way and toss them behind me. Who is the happier man, he who has braved the storm of life and live or he who has stayed securely on shore and merely survived? Exactly. My trust is in God, and I am sorry for ever doubting. I can and I will, through Your grace!!!!

I’ve been looking at beautiful places online throughout the day.. Expeditions and photography workshops to where you travel with a group, internationally. And let me say, it isn’t cheap! I seriously broke down and started crying like a baby.. I mean, traveling is my dream along with photography. Getting to know and absorb different cultures, scenic views, languages, food, religion and people all while capturing and documenting those moments are something I want to do forever in my life time. I really want to drop my shit and venture out into the world and see what the heck else is out there man. It really breaks my heart how expensive it is! I won’t let it discourage me though. I am most likely going to start a traveling fund to help my wanderlust-self out because I cannot wait any longer to get this into action. I want to head out NOW even though that isn’t quite possible haha. But no really.. There is this one company that makes you an Explorer For Life if you book 3 different expeditions with them. Great benefits such as discounts for future travels for you AND your family, forever.. which is pretty damn amazing. India/The Himalayas, Nepal, and Tibet are at the top of my list..and of course, Israel. I’m really considering moving to India in the future for a couple of years so I can travel in the east for a cheaper rate rather than coming all the way from America. Migrating my “home” to different parts of the world for a few years would be the best. I really wouldn’t mind settling in other countries. First I need a stable income/career that can allow me to do so. I’m dead serious about this though.. My taste buds are watering! This is a weird question to ask strangers, but WHO LIVES IN INDIA THAT CAN SHOW ME AROUND? OR ANYWHERE IN THE MIDDLE EAST OR ASIA????? I NEED TO MAKE SOME FOREIGN FRIENDS! Even if you’ve moved there from America or another country (to study and what not)! I desperately want to meet new people that can give me a tour! Someone to share this experience and explore together. Even someone here in the U.S. who wants to move out of the states, let me know, I’m your girl! Preferably a female!

People are afraid that if they let go of their anger and righteousness and wrath, and look at their own feelings—and even see the good in a bad person—they’re going to lose the energy they need to do something about the problem. But actually you get more strength and energy by operating from a place of love and concern. You can be just as tough, but more effectively tough.

A new exhibition from the archives of the Tasveer Foundation, a pan-Indian photo gallery, showcases vintage photographs of Indian women from the 1850s to the 1950s. On view this month at a new boutique in Bangalore, India’s third largest city, the collection is a poignant survey of the transformative century after Britain colonized India in 1858. (via)
